About Me
My name is Braeden de Palézieux, and I’ve made a big shift in my life to focus on something I’m truly passionate about: helping people feel strong, confident, and supported through personal training. After more than 12+ years working in Tech, I realized my favourite part of any role was always helping people grow, overcome barriers, and feel proud of what they’re capable of. That realization led me here — to creating a private, welcoming gym where your progress and comfort are the priority.
I’ve been active and involved in sport from a young age. I started in competitive swimming, joined football at 11, and went on to play through high school and four years of university football. Along the way, I’ve also been part of water polo and rugby teams. It was through football training — in high school and throughout university — that I discovered my love for strength training, and I haven’t stopped lifting since. What began as performance training became a lifelong passion for building strength, resilience, and confidence through proper movement and consistent training.
My Philosophy
I believe training should be personal, consistent, and stress-free. You shouldn’t have to battle crowds, wait for equipment, or feel anxious just to take care of yourself. Every session is designed for you — your goals, your pace, and your comfort level. My role is to create an environment where you can focus, improve, and actually enjoy the process, all while feeling supported every step of the way.
I also believe that strength and resistance training are the most direct and effective path to healthy aging. Building and maintaining muscle supports everyday strength, improves cardiovascular capacity, strengthens bones and joints, and helps preserve a full, healthy range of motion as we age. Training properly isn’t about rushing or lifting recklessly — it’s about moving well, using great technique, and making small, meaningful improvements over time through progressive overload.
Just as important as training is recovery. Rest, quality nutrition, and good sleep are essential for progress, long-term health, and feeling your best. My approach is designed to challenge you appropriately while respecting your body, so you can build strength safely, sustainably, and with confidence.
Why This Gym Exists
I built this space for people who want the benefits of personal training without the intimidation, noise, or pressure of a public gym. This is a private, supportive environment where training is thoughtful, intentional, and designed around long-term health.
